To all that this may concern,

A tough decision was made today; as long as I have been with the Kerman Kart Club we have not postponed any event. I personally have the show must go on attitude, but in this case I and the board feel it would be best to postpone this weekend’s race. A lot of rain has dropped last night, and with 90% of the pit area being dirt this may not be ideal circumstances for this weekend. The forecast for this weekend calls for rain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Racing in the rain is one thing, but setting up, racing & tearing down a track in the rain is an ugly task. A lot was taken into consideration to reschedule the 1st race, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. A new date will be announced soon.

If you have the need for speed and would like to hit the track, Atwater is available on Sunday for an open practice. If that’s something you’re interested in let us know by replying.

Team PKS well be testing this weekend at Willow Springs for the upcoming SKUSA Pro Kart Race.

Thanks Ron Perry

Sean JacksonPlease be advised that there is a dirt show scheduled for Saturday Feb 28, if it is rained out they have the option to roll over to Sunday March 1. Please keep an eye on the Atwater facebook page for updates or you may contact Kevin Vaught @ 209-761-5858 for updates on the weekend.1 week ago

To whom it may concern,

PKS usually attends and supports our races, having parts on hand and answers all the questions you may have. I am sad to say that PKS will not be at the first race with their track side support. So I highly recommend getting all your parts, tires, fuel, oil etc. ASAP before you head to the first race. Need to be prepared. It well be a short track so big gears may be needed.

2015 IKF Rules & Regulations, plus any additional KKC local option rules will take precedence.

To get an IKF rule book you can join IKF. This is highly recommended, and a must if you want to run IKF Regional or National races.

SPEC FUEL: 2 Cycle – VP MS98 & Motul Kart Grand Prix 2T oil.
4 Cycle - Fuel is Shell V-Power 91

SPEC TIRES – Vega FH Blue.
Kid Kart & Cadet Classes Fronts/Rears = 10 x 4.60 – 5

JR2 2-Cycle & JR/SR 4 Cycle Classes Fronts = 10 x 4.60 – 5 & Rears = 11 x 6.00 – 5

SR 2-Cycle Classes Fronts = 10 x 4.60 – 5 & Rears = 11 x 7.10 – 5

ATTENTION LO206 RACERS - We are changing some things so we are more in line with the national LO206 program. So for 2015 all LO206 classes well have a spark plug and overflow rule:

SPARK PLUG - Only unaltered, B&S #555737, Champion RC12YC, spark plug with B&S logo allowed. Sealing washer must be in place as from the factory.

OVERFLOW - Overflow from the float bowl must be vented to a catch can.

Thanks see ya at the track.

“A long history
of kart racing in the central valley”

The Kerman Kart Club began as a group of kart enthusiasts and an open space in Kerman California. Three karters who had been racing at the past Riverview Kart Track needed their own course. The three held a meeting, inviting business men and fellow karters. Out of it came the Kerman Kart Club with 15 members. Each member donated $50 to build the club’s first track. Borrowed farm equipment, donated labor and the donated money made the track a reality in a few months...
